​On the afternoon of June 13, Dr. Mohamad Kasim Bin Abdul Jalil, School Board Director and Director of the Admissions Office of UTM(University of Technology Malaysia) led his team to our college for exchange and cooperation.

Our college President Wei Yingbin together with Directors from our five schools met them in the conference room on the ninth floor of our school's Comprehensive Building.

During the meeting, Mr. Wei extended a warm welcome to Mr.Jalil and his team. He introduced the basic situation of our college from the aspects of history, school size, the setting of majors, talent cultivation and international cooperation. After reviewing the cooperation and exchange between the two sides, he put forward some suggestions for further in-depth cooperation.

Mr. Jalil introduced the basic situation of UTM and UTM's open attitude toward foreign cooperation. He expressed his university's intention to promote in-depth cooperation with our college in the fields of teacher-student exchange and joint research. Last, he expressed sincere thanks to our college for our efforts to promote cooperation with UTM.

After the meeting, Mr.Jalil and his team visited the Animation College's Practice Room, accompanied by Shang Zhiqiang, Director of IECC and Zhang Keliang, Vice Dean of Animation School, e​tc. Mr. Jalil and his team highly praised the facilities, technical level, and student works of the practice room.

UTM is one of the most famous public universities in Malaysia. It is one of the five research-oriented public universities in Malaysia. It ranks 228th in the QS World University Rankings for 2018/2019 and 47th in Asia. As of May 2019, the university has 15,956 students, including 11,839 undergraduates, 4,117 graduate students, and more than 3,000 international students from more than 60 countries and 5,000 exchange students from around the world.
